We have enjoyed a very busy month of May as the wedding season gets under way. However the restaurant has also been busy as many of our customers came to enjoy our Spring Market Menu. We had a great response in regards to the variety of dishes and flavours on the menu and hope you can enjoy June in a similar light as we launch our new menu!
Wednesday 10th May- Jazz Night
We love music nights at Twelve Restaurant and the Jazz evening was no exception, diners were able to enjoy a three course meal plus a bottle of wine whilst listening to soothing Jazz background music from ‘The Jazz Club’.
We are currently looking at potential dates for more Jazz evenings in the future, so keep an eye out!
Thursday 11th May- Relish Cookbook photoshoot
Just another day at the office for our team of chefs…Head Chef Graham Floyd prepared an array of dishes for the upcoming publication of the acclaimed Relish Cookbook. The book will be available for purchase and will contain exquisite photographs alongside current recipes from dishes on our menu! We can’t wait to see the final result.
Wednesday 17th - School Visit from Flakefeet
As you may be aware we are supporting the Healthier Fleetwood campaign set up by Dr Mark Spencer. The campaign will target primary schools in Fleetwood and aims to generate a greater awareness of healthy eating and maintaining an all round healthy lifestyle.
This month we welcomed Year Five pupils from Flakefeet School in Fleetwood. We staged numerous interactive workshops including pasta making in the kitchen, fruit cocktail preparation, the etiquette of dining and healthy food sampling!
Twelve are proud to be offering our experience and knowledge to help the local community and there are lots of exciting opportunities to come!!
Wednesday 24th – Afternoon Tea Tasting
Spot of tea anyone? We are excited to be catering for our first graduation party of the year and the theme is a vintage afternoon tea. Love the use of china crockery to make it extra special!

Monday 1st May - May Day Open Day
Well done to The Great Hall for putting together another fabulous open day over the bank holiday weekend. It is always great to see some of the top North West wedding suppliers including Sonje Design, Creative Cover Hire, Ashton Photography and many more. We look forward to further meetings with future bride and grooms!
Friday 5th May- Marquee Wedding of Mr & Mrs Wilkinson
It is always refreshing to cater for a marquee wedding and submerse yourself in a really relaxed way of dining. Heather and Daniel held their wedding reception at their home farm over Wyre and opted for a selection of arrival canapes for the guests and a choice main course of beef or chicken burger with plenty of chips!! This was followed by ice cream for dessert served by our team from atraditional ice cream cart. It was great to work with Ian Brookes who captured some amazing pictures of the marquee and surroundings. Congratulations to the happy couple!
Saturday 6th May - Wedding of Mr & Mrs Conner
Congratulations to the happy couple Mr & Mrs Conner who were married at The Great Hall at Mains. We had the pleasure of catering for their special day and the room looked beautiful. We especially loved the replacement of traditional table numbers with different gin varieties...Gin o'clock!
Friday 12th- Wedding of Mr & Mrs Lane
We love catering for and being part of our bride and grooms special day and the beautiful wedding of Mr & Mrs Lane was no different. The lovely couple enjoyed an intimaterehearsal dinner the evening before their big day in the Manor House, where we delivered a three course choice menu for 11 people. Guests enjoyed the option of Scotch duck egg with blackpudding and homemade hp sauce for starter, honey glazed belly of pork blackpudding with apple gel, crackling, creamed cabbage mash and cider sauce for main course. Followed by an option of indulgent chocolate marquise with seasonal berries for dessert!
It was now time for the piste de la resistance…Joanne and Stewart’s wedding day! Fabulous day with entertainment from Wayne Farrows who got the guests into the party spirit, flowers by the wonders at Sonje Design! We wish you both all the happiness for your future together
Friday 19th and Saturday 20th - Wedding Weekend
Another fabulous weekend of weddings at both The Great Hall and Browsholme Hall. We thoroughly enjoy creating unique and inspiring menu’s for our bride and grooms and ensure that with the bespoke packages we are adding the extra wow factor! Great as always to see fellow wedding suppliers including Jane and Jason from Flower Design, Creative Cover Hire, Rachel Joyce Photography and many more.
Saturday 27th May - Super Saturday
A super Saturday of events took us across Lancashire to our contracts at Browsholme Hall, The Great Hall and Staining Lodge. Our team had several technically challenging menu’s to prepare and deliver with a selection of anti pasta sharing platters for starter at Browsholme Hall and a choice three course menu for Lucy and Tom at The Great Hall.
