This was a particularly busy day for the team as we had two large events taking place as well as a busy restaurant.
We prepared ourselves to cater for a 40th birthday party accompanied by 400 guests and a house party for 75, who had a personalised cocktail menu created and served to them throughout the day and night by our team.
While the drinks were flowing the guests had a walking canapé service including:
Thai Style Fishcake, sweet and sour dipping sauce,
Coconut and lime marinated chicken, coriander and chilli dipping sauce
Duck spring rolls, rhubarb cherry sauce.
Once canapé service had finished the guests only had a short wait until the BBQ was served to them, they had a huge selection to choose from:
Garlic and chilli chicken breast
Classic pork sausages
Steak burgers with cheese, bacon and a monterey jack sauce
Portobello mushroom burgers with lashings of garlic butter
Spicy rice in a light coronation style dressing
Greek salad platter with a lemon oregano vinaigrette
Italian pasta salad
If all this didn't fill them up they were later served at the time of the England vs Italy game kick-off with Cones of Fleetwood fish and chips or Peri peri chicken burgers.
Meanwhile the restaurant was at maximum capacity with our customers enjoying a wide range of dishes from both our seasonal and Ala Carte menu.
