KFC RGM ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2015 AT BLACKPOOL WINTER GARDENS

Twelve Event Management had the pleasure of catering for KFC RGM Annual Conference 2015 at The Blackpool Winter Gardens on Wednesday 4th February 2015.



The initial concept for the evening dinner menu was devised late summer last year and was followed up by three tasting sessions at the restaurant. We were delighted to win the contract for the conference ahead of a number of catering specialists from the North West and London.




The Day started with coffee and biscuits for the 1120 arriving delegates from all over the UK.



A buffet lunch was served in the Spanish Room which included bowl foods and a huge display of glass and jar desserts, which included sticky toffee pudding, sago and fruit pudding, cheesecake, and KFC's very own panna cotta.



The evening reception commenced with a Champagne and canape reception in the Floral Hall

The Empress Ballroom looked stunning.  If you are thinking of hosting a conference in Blackpool take a look at these amazing facilities, Team Winter Gardens are truly fabulous to work with.



The Empress Ballroom ready and set for dinner. Over 8000 individual pieces of cutlery polished and laid. The tables laid in black and gold.










The Starter - 'Original Crispy Hen's Egg" corn fritter, coleslaw, tasty side salad and compressed baby gem lettuce . Translated as poached hen's egg coated in panic crumb with KFC special seasoning served with tomato jelly, compressed gem lettuce and cucumber, yellow and red tomatoes, green beans and side of coleslaw.

Final briefings, with over 100 staff servicing the event, Caroline gives final instructions to our 80 strong front of house staff.

Ready to go with the starter, staff line up for the the addition of a deep fried hen's egg and popcorn fritter and all completed with the KFC secret seasoning.



For Main course we served up a  'Fully Loaded' which included a mini pulled chicken pie, tortilla crisp and sweetcorn puree




KFC 'Blackpool Kream Ball' complete with beach umbrella was served up for dessert

Coffee and  specially made KFC Rock to conclude ..... well until we served breakfast at 2.00am to the delegates!
