Twelve is one of only 118 establishments across Great Britain and Ireland to have Michelin Bib Gourmand status, which recognises the provision of good food at moderate prices.
The award is becoming increasingly recognised as diners seek out restaurants that offer good food and good value.
Twelve’s success comes as the Michelin Guide celebrates its 100th anniversary.
The first Michelin guide to the British Isles was published in 1911 with the aim of helping intrepid motorists on their travels. Today it recommends a large and diverse selection of hotels, guesthouses, restaurants and pubs in all price categories.
Caroline Upton, Front of House Proprietor, said: “We are delighted to have retained our Michelin Bib Gourmand status; it is a much sought after accolade and sends out a clear message to diners that they can be assured of high standards at Twelve.
“We are also pleased to be part of the Michelin Guide’s 100th anniversary celebrations as the guide plays such a pivotal role in the UK’s restaurant culture.”
